Posted by I. B. Gd Pramana A. Putra, 28 Jun 22, last updated 17 Jul 22

Here is the command to stop the Apache server on Ubuntu:

$ sudo service apache2 stop

If using a systemd based distro like Ubuntu Linux 16.04+ LTS or Debian Linux 8.x+:

$ sudo systemctl stop apache2.service
