MariaDB Command to Drop a Database

Posted by I. B. Gd Pramana A. Putra, 28 Jun 22, last updated 17 Jul 22

"Drop a Database" is an SQL term for removing a database. MariaDB has a command to perform to drop a database:

DROP DATABASE my_database;

Be careful in using this command because a database that has been deleted cannot be restored if you don't have any backup.
